Eligibility

Ages: 4 – 18 (high school)

Contestant must meet one of these three eligibility requirements:
1. Contestant is a resident of Dallas County
2. Contestant is a student of a DMTA member teacher
3. Contestant is a student of any member of a Dallas County Symphony or Civic Orchestra

Sonata/Sonatina/Piece $20 per student
Concerto         $30 per student
Fees for Non-Members
Sonata/Sonatina/Piece $30 per student

Further Information:  The category that a contestant may enter is determined by his/her age as of January 1, 2008.  A contestant may not enter higher or lower categories.

Registration Information: For the piano competition, DMTA Members must enter their students through the Online Festival Registration System in the members area of this site. For registration for Winds, Strings and Piano Non-members, photocopy the entry form in the brochure for each student and follow the instructions in the brochure.
